If you have been awaiting information on when Moon Tools might be officially released, I can provide an update on the current status.
Unfortunately there has been a delay in the initial release for the following reasons.
The beta program was stifled a little due to the fact that a number of Nuke users have yet to migrate to Nuke13. As you all know, this version updated to Python 3 and this has been an issue for many users and facilities with legacy python code.
Nuke13 has issues! (No comment)
The node tool engine has been re-written to be more robust and easier to maintain.
I’ve been busy! There is a lot of comp work out there at the moment.
New features added. A couple of new node tools
Security improvements to the registration process.
Jumping through some hoops to get Moon Tools working on IOS. Thank you Apple for making the process so involved….
Bug fixes.
Hopefully a new Beta will be released very shortly.
